"On behalf of the Ozaukee Washington Land Trust (OWLT), please accept our sincere gratitude for the support that helped us achieve our organizational mission over the last year. The goal of this letter is to inform your group of the impact achieved with the $5,000 grant awarded to OWLT for the Donges Bay Gorge Nature Preserve Renovation project in Mequon. Multiple projects were achieved at the preserve. Some of these items included the improvements to the pool house stairs and structural posts, rerouting and enhancements to the hiking trails, installation of new boardwalks/bridges on the hiking trail, excavation and reworking of the parking lot area, installation of new signage and kiosk, and removal and treatment of invasives plant and wood species."
