The Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation is pleased to welcome Attorney Elli Becker of O’Leary-Guth Law Offices to its Giving Advisory Team (GAT). Becker succeeds Jeremy Guth, who previously served on the team and contributed meaningfully to MTCF’s charitable planning efforts.
As a member of the Giving Advisory Team, Becker joins a network of respected local professionals who help guide donors through charitable gift planning, tax and investment strategies, and estate planning considerations. GAT members collaborate to ensure donors have access to knowledgeable, trusted advisors when exploring donor-advised funds and other advanced charitable giving options.
Becker brings deep expertise in estate planning and elder law, working closely with individuals and families to develop comprehensive estate plans, prepare essential documents, and navigate long-term planning needs. Her practice also includes elder law matters such as Medicaid planning. A graduate of Marquette University Law School, Becker earned the CALI Award for the highest grade in Trusts and Estates. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, where she double-majored in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
Before joining O’Leary-Guth Law Offices as an attorney, Becker gained valuable experience as a law clerk during law school and through her work with the City of Milwaukee Attorney’s Office, Litigation Division. Beyond her professional work, she is actively engaged in the community as a member of the Mequon-Thiensville Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Committee. Her professional memberships include the State Bar of Wisconsin, Ozaukee County Bar Association, and the Milwaukee Estate Planning Forum.

Current members of the Giving Advisory Team include: Chris Doughty (Gentian Financial), Ryan Gray (Richmond Investment Services), Matthew Richmond (Richmond Investment Services), Greg Sommersberger (The Sommersberger Group – Baird), and David Watson (The Law Offices of David Watson).
Since 1999, the Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation has worked to enhance the quality of life in Mequon and Thiensville, raising and distributing more than $1.5 million to support local nonprofits, civic initiatives, and collaborative community efforts.
