Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation has created relationships with a network of experts who can help MTCF donors make informed choices for their charitable giving. We call this network our Giving Advisory Team (GAT).
GAT members are local, trusted, carefully selected professionals in the areas of investments, wealth, tax, estate planning, and legal services. GAT members are specialists in their field, and hold professional certifications such as: certified public accountant (CPA), certified financial planner (CFP) and chartered financial consultant (CFC).
GAT members can guide, advise, and coordinate your gift planning and donations, tax and investment strategies and estate planning. They can also inform you of tools like donor advised funds (DAF), as well as sound advice for other charitable and advanced giving options.
GAT members have the skills and experience to guide you in matters such as:
- Comparing options such as charitable funds versus outright charitable gifts
- Understanding the tax advantages of creating a charitable fund
- Establishing giving programs that provide for children and other charitable interests
MTCF is pleased to have the support and partnership of GAT network members who have the deep knowledge and valuable insights to advise donors of their best options of donating to MTCF. We invite you to contact a Giving Advisory Team member or your advisor to discuss your specific charitable giving options and gift planning.
