EVENT RECAP
MTCF held its inaugural Future Anchored in Benevolence (FAB) Philanthropy Summit on October 15th at Ozaukee Country Club, where donors, financial professionals, and community members gathered for a breakfast focused on tax-efficient philanthropy.
The Giving Advisory Team (GAT) organized and shaped the summit, presenting a keynote address by Timothy Steffen, Director of Advanced Planning at Baird, who discussed the tax implications of recent legislation, including the “Big Beautiful Bill,” and their effects on charitable and legacy giving.
GAT also hosted a panel on achieving charitable goals and minimizing taxes, covering strategies like Donor Advised Funds, Charitable Trusts, Qualified Charitable Distributions, and estate planning for future generations.
