Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation Brings Donors and Grantees together during 25th anniversary celebration
The Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation (MTCF) celebrated its 25th anniversary by hosting a meet and greet for donors and grantee organizations. Held on Thursday, November 14th at Foxtown Station in Mequon, over 140 guests, including 16 grantee organizations, joined together to celebrate the impact from the grants awarded by MTCF. A toast was made to the crowd by MTCF President Lori Lorenz, “Over the past 25 years, MTCF has awarded in excess of $1.2 million in grants to 36 organizations with over 1,100 passionate donor - thank you, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in enhancing our communities of Mequon and Thiensville!”
Grantees at the event included the city of Mequon and village of Thiensville police departments, city of Mequon K9 Unit, Southern Ozaukee Fire Department, village of Thiensville, Village Park Reimagined, Jonathan Clark House, Mequon-Thiensville Historical Society, Frank L Weyenberg Library, Mequon-Thiensville Little League/Mequon Heat, Mequon Nature Preserve, Ozaukee Washington Land Trust, Thiensville Mequon Pickleball Association, MT Trails Foundation, Ozaukee Youth Hockey Association. Unable to attend was the city of Mequon Parks Department. Also present was the Mequon-Thiensville Chamber of Commerce, city of Mequon Festivals Committee, Downtown Thiensville and the Rotary Foundation’s Rotary Park All User Park.
