MEQUON — The Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation has announced the recipients of its Spring 2026 grant cycle, awarding a total of $23,695 to four local organizations supporting impactful programs and projects throughout the Mequon and Thiensville community.
“These grants reflect our continued commitment to strengthening the community by investing in programs that make a meaningful difference,” MTCF President Lori Lorenz said. “We are grateful to our donors whose generosity makes this support possible.”
Grants were awarded to the following organizations:
- Southern Ozaukee Fire and EMS Department — iSimulate Medical Simulation Technology, Clinical Education Technology for $9,495
- Village of Thiensville Historic Preservation Commission — Historical Marking Plaques for $6,200
- Mequon Nature Preserve — Electric John Deere Gator for $5,000
- Mequon Police Department — Pop-Up Tent, Flag, and Signicade for $3,000
According to MTCF, the foundation conducts two grant cycles each year, inviting nonprofit organizations to apply for funding that addresses community needs and enhances quality of life in Mequon and Thiensville. Applications are carefully reviewed, and awards are based on impact, feasibility, and available funding.
