Community members gathered at the FoxYard in Mequon for music, food, family activities, and updates on local trail projects in partnership with Fromm Foods and Foxtown Hospitality.
Residents from across the community stopped by last Saturday, April 25, for MT Trails Foundation’s Celebrate Trails event, hosted at the FoxYard in Mequon in partnership with Fromm Foods and Foxtown Hospitality. Despite a cool start to the day, the event ended in sunshine as bikers, walkers, dogs, and kids of all ages gathered to connect with local organizations and learn about community updates.
Attendees enjoyed live music by Patrick Van Bibber along with food and beverages from Foxtown Hospitality, visiting with the Mequon Police K9 therapy dog, Leo, and a Mequon Police Ebike officer, community vendors and even learning pickleball on a temporary court set up by TMPA.
“We were thrilled to kick off the spring by supporting the community for this event, and our 40-by-100-foot outdoor tent, which will be up for the summer, and kitchen/bar in the FoxYard provided the perfect venue,” said Nathan Gorringe, General Manager of Properties for Fromm Family Foods and Foxtown-GBC.
Community members can still get involved with several trail- and recreation-related opportunities highlighted during the event:
